News: Man injured after collision with suspected drunk driver on Dessau Rd

AUSTIN, TX – A man was possibly injured during a collision with a suspected drunk driver on Dessau Road last week, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The accident occurred in the 11300 block of Dessau Rd at 12:24 a.m. Thursday, when the driver of a gray 2010 Land Rover, a 35-year-old man, reportedly failed to yield the right of way.

The front of the Land Rover collided with the front left of a black 2001 Ford operated by a 31-year-old man suspected of having been drinking.

The driver of the Land Rover sustained a suspected minor injury as a result.

The occupants of the Ford were not hurt.

Both drivers were found to be at fault in the crash.
