News: Man injured after being rear-ended by truck driver in Wells Branch

WELLS BRANCH, TX – One person was injured in a collision involving a reportedly inattentive truck driver near I-35 in Wells Branch, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash happened at 14491 The Lakes Boulevard, just east of I-35, at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, after the 70-year-old driver of a white 2005 Freightliner failed to maintain his attention on the roadway.

He then rear-ended a white 2013 Nissan being driven by a 26-year-old man.

The driver of the Nissan sustained possible injuries in the crash.

The truck driver was not hurt.
