News: Man hurt in rear-end crash on RM 1431 allegedly caused by speeding

CEDAR PARK, TX – One person was hurt last week in a collision on RM 1431 in Cedar Park that may have been caused by speeding, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash happened on RM 1431 near Highway 183A at around 11:41 a.m. Thursday, after the 35-year-old driver of a silver 2004 Toyota failed to control the speed of his vehicle. He crashed into the rear of a white 2019 Nissan.

The driver of the Nissan, a 69-year-old man, suffered possible injuries in the crash.

The at-fault driver was not reported as injured.
