News: Man dead after early-morning crash on Hwy 183 near Hwy 290 ramp
AUSTIN, TX – A man was killed after his vehicle collided with a traffic divider on Highway 183 early Saturday morning, according to the Austin Police Department.
The crash happened in the 2200 block of eastbound Hwy 183, near the exit ramp to Highway 290, at around 1:05 a.m.
A driver headed eastbound, identified as 32-year-old Darlan Manrique Pena Rodriguez, collided with a traffic divider between the ramp and the roadway.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash, which is Austin’s second fatal crash for 2022, remains under investigation at this time.
