News: Lawnmower versus car crash kills one, injures another in Austin
AUSTIN, TX – A lawnmower versus car crash claimed a man’s life in Austin around 8:44 am Monday, KVUE reported.
The collision happened on the 6000 block of the South I-35 service road. A man riding a lawn mower was traveling beside the right lane. Then the man and another vehicle slammed into one another.
The details of what led up to the crash are unclear at this time. However, what is known is that the other driver was hospitalized with minor injuries, and the lawnmower man was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Austin Police Department has not released the name of the driver and lawnmower man. However, as they investigate Monday’s crash, they ask anyone with more information about the incident to contact the Highway Investigation Tip Line.
