News: Georgetown firetruck hit while responding to previous accident
GEORGETOWN, TX – A Georgetown Fire Department truck was struck by a pickup truck while it was blocking traffic at the scene of a previous accident on Tuesday night.
The department reports that it responded to a collision on I-35 at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday. Photos of the incident suggest that it occurred about a mile from the exit to Williams Drive. Engine Two had been deployed to block traffic and protect emergency responders when it was struck by a white pickup truck.
