News: Five injured, including two children, in bus vs. car crash in Austin
AUSTIN, TX – Five people were injured in a Tuesday night crash in Austin involving a bus and a car.
According to ATCEMS, the collision happened before 7 pm at the 6500 block of E US Highway SVRD EB. When a bus and car collided, it caused one vehicle to overturn and trap two people.

ATCEMS Medics were able to extricate the two adults trapped in the vehicle. Both were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center, where they were hospitalized for severe injuries. In addition, two children were hospitalized at Dell for non-life-threatening injuries.
One other adult sustained injuries but declined to be taken to a hospital.
The contributing factors regarding Tuesday’s crash were not reported.
