News: Electrical fire in West Campus condo building displaces 10 people
AUSTIN, TX – An electrical fire at a condo building in West Campus led to about 10 people being displaced this afternoon, according to the Austin Fire Department.

The fire occurred at about 3:30 p.m. at 2406 Rio Grande Street, in the space between the first and second floors.
AFD stated that the fire was electrical in origin. The fire was reported as out by 4:27 p.m.
No injuries were immediately reported, but 10 people from five units have been displaced until repairs can be made to the electrical system.
