News: Elderly driver injured in wrong-way crash on Quinlan Park Rd
AUSTIN, TX – An elderly woman was injured in a wrong-way car accident in the Steiner Ranch area on Monday morning, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred at 2970 N Quinlan Park Road, near Steiner Ranch Boulevard, at 9:45 a.m., as the 84-year-old driver of a silver 2008 Mercedes-Benz was driving in the wrong direction on a one-way road. She also may have been going at an unsafe rate of speed.
Her vehicle then crashed, suffering damage to the front end and the right side.
The driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.
No other people or vehicles were involved in the collision.
