News: Eight injured in vehicle and bus collision near East 11th Street
AUSTIN, TX- A bus and vehicle crashed on Sunday afternoon near East 11th Street, seriously injuring numerous adults and children, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
At approximately 2:43pm, officials responded to the scene of a bus and vehicle collision near the intersection of East 11th Street and the northbound I-35 Service Road. Eight people were reported injured, two children and six adults, and the seriously injured were transported to St. David’s South Austin. At least two were pinned in the crash, and one of the injured children received CPR at the scene.
