News: Drunk driving crash in Austin injures 2 ATCEMS medics
AUSTIN, TX – Two ATCEMS medics were hospitalized after getting struck by an alleged drunk driver around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
According to KXAN, the two first responders were responding to a medical call when they were hit by a driver near South Congress Avenue and East Riverside Drive.
The medics’ current conditions are unknown at this time, although one of them cannot perform any job duties at this time.
