News: Driver seriously hurt after crashing 200 ft into creek bed
WEST LAKE HILLS, TX – A victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a vehicle crashed over 200 feet down an embankment in West Lake Hills this afternoon.
According to the Austin-Travis County EMS, the accident happened in the 1800 block of Westlake Drive at about 1:49 p.m., when a blue sedan went 200 feet down an embankment. The vehicle then landed in the bed of a creek.

A patient was declared a trauma alert. After being rescued from the vehicle, the victim was taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of serious, possibly life-threatening wounds.
