News: Driver pulled through windshield, hospitalized after crash on I-35 service rd

AUSTIN, TX – A driver was taken to the hospital after being extricated through the windshield of their vehicle following a collision on the I-35 service road on Saturday morning.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the crash occurred near the intersection with W Parmer Lane at 7:52 a.m., when at least one vehicle crashed and overturned.

A driver was entrapped within the wreckage and had to be rescued through the windshield of the vehicle.

After being extricated, the victim was taken to St. David’s North for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
