News: Driver injured in rear-end crash on Anderson Mill Rd

AUSTIN, TX – A man was injured in a speed-related crash on Anderson Mill Road this weekend, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash happened at 9630 Anderson Mill Rd, near Highway 183/Research Boulevard at 9 p.m. Saturday, when the 24-year-old driver of a silver 2016 Honda failed to control the speed of his vehicle. He then crashed into the back of a white 2011 Nissan being driven by a 66-year-old man.

The driver of the Honda sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The other driver and his 35-year-old passenger were not hurt.
