News: Driver injured following alleged DWI crash on I-35

AUSTIN, TX – A driver was injured in a crash on I-35 after they had allegedly been driving under the influence early Monday morning, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred on I-35 near E Cesar Chavez Street at 4:15 a.m., after the 22-year-old driver of a black 2015 BMW had allegedly been drinking. She then crashed her vehicle, sustaining damage to the right-front quarter of the BMW.

The driver, who was the only reported occupant of the vehicle, suffered minor injuries in the crash.

No other vehicles were reportedly involved in the collision.
