News: Driver fatally collides with pillar in Cedar Park’s first traffic fatality of 2021
CEDAR PARK, TX – The driver of a pickup truck was killed after he collided with a concrete pillar in the Cedar Park area last Friday, according to KXAN.
The accident occurred in the 6200 block of Highway 183A at about 7:30 a.m., when 59-year-old John Alphones Brommel, operating a Chevrolet Silverado, went off the side of the highway. He then smashed into a concrete pillar.
Brommel was taken to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his wounds.
No other people were reported as injured from the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by Cedar Park and Leander police.
The crash is the first traffic fatality of the year in Cedar Park.
