News: Collision involving Leander ISD bus leaves 1 dead, another injured
TRAVIS CO., TX – A multi-vehicle crash involving a Leander ISD bus this morning resulted in a single fatality and left another person seriously injured.
According to KXAN, The school bus and a red passenger vehicle collided head-on at about along Ranch Road 1431, near the intersection with Pecan Drive at about 7:30 a.m.
The driver of the red vehicle was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the bus was also hospitalized. Their condition remains unclear at this time.
The bus was heading to a nearby school when the incident occurred.
