News: Car fire on I-35 in Kyle prompts traffic delays
KYLE, TX – Travis County fire crews were called to a car fire on southbound I-35 along Kyle Parkway Monday.
The incident was first reported around 12:45 p.m. and was blocking one right lane, as indicated in a tweet from Total Traffic Austin.

Emergency crews were able to extinguish the flames, although there has been no official word on the occupant’s current condition and what led to the incident.
Drivers in the area can expect to see traffic delays extending back towards FM-2001 and may want to consider alternative routes. As of yet, there is no confirmation of what led to the collision.
