News: Austin police officer seriously injured after DWI crash
AUSTIN, TX- An Austin Police officer was injured early Monday morning when his patrol vehicle was struck by a drunk driver, according to KXAN.
The collision happened in the intersection of Trinity Street and East 15th Street at about 1:15 a.m. The APD officer was transported to an area hospital after the crash. The driver and the sole passenger of the other vehicle were also taken to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle was charged with a DWI.
