News: Austin Police IDs cyclist killed in crash on S 1st St.
AUSTIN, TX – Officials confirmed the identity of the cyclist who died in a crash in South Austin on Friday, March 24th.
According to CBS Austin, the cyclist, 76-year-old John Phillip Judah, was riding his bike on the 5100 block of South 1st Street when he was hit by a car.
Officers responded to the scene after 11:30 p.m. Medics took Judah to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, where he later died.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
