News: Austin PD responds to 5 collisions that occurred in 21-minute span
AUSTIN, TX – Authorities with the Austin Police responded to five collisions that occurred within a span of just over 20 minutes this afternoon.
The first crash occurred in the 11000 block of Boulder Lane in northwest Austin, near Chestnut Ridge Road and Crossland Drive, at 3:16 p.m.
The second collision happened just a minute later, at 3:17 p.m., near the intersection of E Wells Branch Parkway and S Heatherwilde Boulevard, east of Wells Branch.
Authorities responded to a third crash located in North Lamar, in the 300 block of Ferguson Drive, near Turner Drive, at 3:21 p.m.
The fourth collision happened in the Park Central area, near W Parmer Lane and N Lamar Boulevard at 3:34 p.m.
The most recent accident occurred in Windemere, near the intersection of Horborne Lane and Vincent Place at 3:37 p.m.
All but the fifth crash were reported as urgent accidents.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt as a result of the collisions.
