News: AFD fights car fire near E Parmer and I-35
AUSTIN, TX – Austin Fire Department units responded to a car fire at a north Austin intersection shortly before 6 a.m. today.

The fire occurred at McAllen Pass and East Parmer Lane, about half a mile east of Parmer’s intersection with I-35. AFD arrived on the scene at 5:58 a.m.
We do not know at this time whether anyone was injured, or if the wreck remained at the scene long enough to impact rush hour traffic. We will update this blog if we learn more.
