News: 5-year-old and woman reported injured in crash on Montopolis Dr in SE Austin
AUSTIN, TX – A woman and a child were reported as injured during a collision on Montopolis Drive on Easter Sunday, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The accident occurred at 1501 Montopolis Drive, north of Riverside Drive and near Santos Street, at 2:53 p.m., when the front of a 2007 BMW collided with the front right of a blue 2014 Dodge carrying a total of six passengers, including four children from ages 3-12.
Two passengers in the Dodge, a 5-year-old girl and a 29-year-old woman, are thought to have sustained minor wounds in the accident.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the crash was not released.
