News: 4 seriously hurt, 1 killed in 3-vehicle crash on U.S. 290
AUSTIN, TX – Four were hospitalized, and one was left dead after a three-vehicle collision near Cedar Valley Tuesday.
The crash was reported on the 8640 block of West U.S. 290 Highway; ATCEMS responded to the scene after 2:30 p.m.
Two occupants, who were flown by helicopter, sustained severe injuries. One was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, while the other was transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.
Two others, who also suffered severe injuries, were transported by ground to Dell Seton and St. David’s.
It is unclear who had the right of way. In addition, the names of those involved in the collision have not been released.
