AUSTIN, TX – Four people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on Parmer Lane early Saturday morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened at E Parmer Lane and McCallen Pass at around 6 a.m., when two vehicles collided.
The collision led to one person being pinned in their vehicle.
The pinned victim was extricated from the wreckage and, along with three others, was declared a trauma alert.
Two people were hospitalized with critical, life-threatening wounds.
Another person was taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe, possibly life-threatening injuries.
A fourth victim was hospitalized with possibly severe injuries.
A fifth person sustained minor injuries at the scene but refused transport to the hospital.
The cause of the crash was not immediately available.
