News: 4 hospitalized after Austin crash near Lady Bird Lake
AUSTIN, TX – Eight people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash at East Riverside Drive and Alameda Drive on Jan 1.
First responders were called to the scene after 1 a.m., according to a tweet from ATCEMS. One person was trapped inside their vehicle and extricated by medics.

Three people were taken to South Austin Medical Center for a mix of severe and minor injuries, and one was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center for critical injuries.
Four other occupants sustained minor injuries. However, they refused transportation to a hospital.
