News: 3 people injured in pin-in crash on Bastrop Highway
AUSTIN, TX – Three people were injured in a pin-in car crash on Bastrop Highway in East Austin this morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred in the 800 block of Bastrop Hwy southbound at 6:51 a.m.
At least one person, identified only as an adult victim, was pinned within the wreckage of the crash. After being extricated from the vehicle, they were taken to South Austin Medical Center for the treatment of severe, possibly life-threatening wounds.
A second adult victim was taken to the same hospital to receive treatment for minor, non-life-threatening wounds.
A third person was evaluated at the scene for non-critical injuries. It is unclear if they were taken to the hospital for treatment.
