News: 3 injured in Travis Co. multi-vehicle crashes
AUSTIN, TX – One adult and two children were hospitalized following multi-vehicle collisions Saturday.
According to CBS Austin, the first crash happened before 1 p.m. on northbound I-35 before the SH 45 on-ramp. ATCEMS and Austin fire crews responded to the incident and said around 10 vehicles were involved. Among all the occupants, two children and one adult were sent to Dell Children’s Medical Center and Ascension Seton Hays Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The second collision, involving nine vehicles, took place after 1 p.m. on the northbound lanes of Research Boulevard near Duval Road. No injuries were reported.
Officials have not specified the causes of these crashes, nor have they started the current conditions of those who did sustain injuries.
