News: 3 adults, 1 child injured in crash in SW Austin
AUSTIN, TX – Three adults and one child were injured yesterday in a multi-vehicle collision in southwest Austin, KVUE reports.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to a crash near the intersection of State Highway 71 and Thomas Springs Road shortly before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29.
While the circumstances of the crash are unclear at this time, one of the vehicles collided with a fire hydrant and toppled power lines, which affected the roadway. Emergency responders ha to pull at least one person from the wreckage.
One adult victim was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with potentially life-threatening injuries. A second adult was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with less serious injuries, and a third declined hospitalization.
Emergency responders also transported a child to Dell Children’s Medical Center with injuries not deemed life-threatening.
