News: 26-year-old pedestrian severely injured after being hit by car on I-35
AUSTIN, TX – A 26-year-old man suffered severe injuries after being hit by a driver on I-35 early Monday morning, reports the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The collision happened on I-35, north of Lady Bird Lake and near Festival Beach, at 12:18 a.m., when a 26-year-old pedestrian was struck by the 22-year-old driver of a black 2008 Acura.
The pedestrian sustained severe injuries in the crash. His identity was not immediately released.
The driver and her 22-year-old passenger were not reported as injured.
