News: 22-year-old woman possibly hurt in crash on Williams Dr in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, TX – A 22-year-old woman was reported as injured following a collision in Georgetown last weekend, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The crash happened at 3884 Williams Drive, west of Serenada Drive, at 1:22 p.m. Saturday, as the 22-year-old driver of a silver Mazda reportedly failed to yield the right of way at a private drive.

The front-left side of her vehicle then collided with the front of a red 2016 Jeep being operated by a 52-year-old woman.

The 22-year-old driver, who was determined to be at fault, sustained possible injuries in the accident.

Neither the driver of the Jeep nor a passenger in the Mazda, a 17-year-old girl, were reported as injured.

All three people were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
