News: 20 apartments evacuated after fireplace sparks blaze in Sunset Valley
SUNSET VALLEY, TX – Twenty apartments were evacuated after a fire broke out at a building in the Sunset Valley area today, according to the Austin Fire Department.

The blaze happened at 6607 Brodie Lane, and according to firefighters, started in the area of the fireplace.
Flames and heavy smoke could be seen coming from the roof of one of the buildings.
A total of 20 apartments were evacuated after the structure caught fire. The total number of victims is currently unknown.
It is possible that the winter weather event may have contributed to the blaze, as people across the city have lit stoves and fireplaces while trying to keep warm.
