News: 2 women injured in distracted-driving crash on Metric Blvd

AUSTIN, TX – Two women were reported as injured following an alleged inattentive-driving collision on Metric Boulevard on Monday morning, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The crash occurred at 10901 Metric Boulevard, near Kramer Lane, at 10:35 a.m.

The 32-year-old driver of a white 2020 Kia and the 66-year-old driver of a white 2014 Subaru both failed to pay attention to the roadway.

The front of the Kia then crashed into the front-left quarter of the Subaru.

Both women sustained possible injuries during the crash.

A passenger in the Subaru, a 68-year-old man, was not reported as injured.

Both drivers were determined to be at fault.
