News: 2 people injured in T-bone crash caused by inattentive driver on Hwy 183

AUSTIN, TX – Two people were injured in a collision on Highway 183 reportedly caused by inattentive driving late Thursday night, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash happened near McNeil Drive at 11:31 p.m., when the 20-year-old driver of a beige 2014 Chevrolet reportedly failed to pay attention to the roadway. She then T-boned the right side of a black 2019 Nissan being driven by a 29-year-old man.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The two passengers in the Nissan, a 28-year-old woman and a 5-year-old girl, were uninjured.
