News: 2 people hospitalized after pin-in crash on Riverside and Pleasant Valley

AUSTIN, TX – Two people were taken to the hospital as a result of a pin-in collision on Riverside Drive late Friday night, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash occurred at 9:51 p.m. near the intersection of E Riverside Drive and S Pleasant Valley Road. At least one person was pinned within the wreckage of the crash.

Emergency officials pronounced two victims as trauma alerts.

One person was taken to Dell Seton for treatment of severe, possibly life-threatening wounds.

The second trauma alert patient was brought to St. David’s South with severe injuries.

A third victim refused transport at the scene.
