AUSTIN, TX – Two people were hospitalized following a pin-in crash on Highway 183 last night, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened in the 6900 block of S U.S. 183 at 9:13 p.m. and resulted in one person being pinned within the wreckage.
After being extricated, the unconscious victim was declared a trauma alert. Authorities performed life-saving measures on the victim before they were taken to St. David’s South to receive treatment for critical, life-threatening injuries.
A second victim was taken to the hospital in Buda with non-critical wounds.
