News: 2 people hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash on Southwest Pkwy
AUSTIN, TX – Two people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle pin-in crash on the Southwest Parkway this evening, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened near the intersection of Southwest Pkwy and Travis Cook Road at 6:44 p.m., when multiple vehicles collided. At least one adult victim was pinned within the wreckage.
After being extricated from their vehicle, the victim was declared a trauma alert, then airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center to receive treatment for severe injuries that were not expected to be life-threatening.
A person in their late teens was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with possibly serious, non-life-threatening wounds.
An additional five people were evaluated by paramedics at the scene and refused transport to the hospital.
