News: 2 pedestrians killed in early-morning crash on SH-123 in San Marcos
SAN MARCOS, TX – Two pedestrians were fatally struck by a driver early Sunday morning on State Highway 123 in San Marcos, according to information from the San Marcos Daily Record.
The crash happened in the 2300 block of SH-123, near Wonder World Drive, at around 2:47 a.m., as two pedestrians were reportedly standing near their vehicle, which was parked in the outside traffic lane of the highway.
The victims, identified as Keenan Benton, 33, and Tomika Dorsey, 37, were then struck by a driver.
Benton and Dorsey died at the scene.
The driver has not been charged with a crime at this time, and the collision remains under investigation.
