News: 2 men likely injured during rear-end crash on Slaughter Ln

AUSTIN, TX – An 80-year-old and a 22-year-old were possibly injured during a collision on Slaughter Lane on Monday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The accident happened on E Slaughter Lane, east of I-35, at about 2:15 p.m., when the front of a blue 2017 Mazda collided with the back right of a gray 2009 Honda.

The driver of the Mazda, a 22-year-old man, and the 80-year-old man operating the Honda sustained what authorities believe to have been minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is not available at this time.
