News: 19-year-old injured in single-vehicle crash on SH-130 in NE Austin

AUSTIN, TX – A 19-year-old driver was reported injured during a single-vehicle collision in northeast Austin on Monday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The accident occurred on State Highway 130, near the Manor Expressway (Highway 290), at 1:47 p.m.

The 19-year-old driver of a black 2011 Volkswagen reportedly failed to control her speed, causing the car to crash. The vehicle sustained damage to its left front end and its left back end.

The driver is suspected to have suffered minor injuries in the accident.

No other people were hurt in the crash.
