AUSTIN, TX – A 19-year-old was reported as injured following a drowsy-driving crash in east Austin this weekend, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The accident happened at 10790 FM 969 Road, east of Blue Bluff Road, at 10:06 a.m. Sunday, as the driver of a blue Toyota, a 19-year-old male, was driving while drowsy and may have fallen asleep.
The driver suffered minor injuries in the crash. His 18-year-old passenger was not reported as injured.
