News: 1 dead, 2 injured in multi-vehicle crash on I-35 early Sunday morning
AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed, and two others were injured when multiple vehicles collided on I-35 in North Austin early yesterday morning, according to KXAN.
The accident occurred on N I-35, near the exit for Braker Lane, at about 2 a.m., when three vehicles collided.
One person was killed after being pinned within the wreckage. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people were taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries and are expected to make a recovery.
A fourth person refused treatment at the scene.
Authorities closed the northbound lanes of the interstate, with drivers being asked to detour at Braker Lane.
