News: 1 dead, 1 injured in collision near Walnut Creek Business Park
AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed, and another was injured in a collision in northeast Austin this evening, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision happened near the Walnut Creek Business Park, in the 9000 block of Tuscany Way, at 6:25 p.m.
One person was declared dead at the scene.
A second person was pronounced a trauma alert, then taken to the hospital for the treatment of serious, possibly life-threatening wounds.
There is no information available regarding the cause of the accident or the identities of the victims.
Authorities asked drivers to avoid the area and to slow down for the safety of emergency crews working the scene. Heavy traffic delays were to be expected.
